First Weigh In

Hey guys and gals! I hope your week is going well. I was hoping to post my weight and measurements yesterday but....some little princess got into my sewing stash and cut up my measuring tape! It was the first time she had used scissors so I am just happy it wasn't her hair or something that cost more than $1! Below is my weight picture I took yesterday.


I am going to spare you the body shots until I see improvement! I went both last night and tonight with my friend, Pamela, to Zumba for an hour each. I did really well eating today too. I downloaded myfitnesspal app to my iPod and that helps me count calories and keep up with my water intake. Remember I am just trying to tone and get in shape, not loose weight!

My friend Jenny sent this to me and I just love it!


Now I am off to soak my achy muscles!

Exercise


Well y'all, I am jumping on the bandwagon. The one that is.....




I saw the picture below a while back and have had it in the back of my mind and with the inspiration from my friend, Jenny I am going to do this!!

I am hoping to tone just like this picture shows.  I don't feel I really need to loose weight just tone up some spots. Such as the "pooch", my arms, legs, and tush!

My main reason for wanting to do this is to be healthy. I want to set a good example for my daughter. As of now the only activity I get is chasing her around! I am starting Zumba this week and if that goes well I may join the gym.

One of my down falls is not drinking enough water. I don't drink a lot of drinks, I just don't drink at all. So this weekend I splurged on a Camelbak water bottle. I figure that might help me want to drink more.

I also have a hard time cooking. Dinner isn't so bad but I never know what to fix for lunch. If you have any healthy suggestions please share!

I am going to do a weigh in and measurements on Wednesday so I will be sure to post them. I am off to search Pinterest for recipes!
